A Sweet Celebration - Prom 2011

My friend asked me if I would like to take pictures for her school's prom, and I was so excited! I remember my proms (one from grade 12 and one for OAC) and it was so much fun! I also remember being on the prom committee, which was fun as well. I had volunteered at my friend's school before, so I was knew some of the students. It was nice to see them all dressed up and so excited for their prom. My friend did an amazing job putting this together with her prom committee! She is definitely going to be my wedding planner when I get married, inshallah :P Thanks again for this great opportunity, and I hope you all enjoy the pictures! Oh, and YES I did get to take some candy home!

Portrait of a Graduate

My friend Raneem asked me if I could take pictures for her after her convocations...I was thrilled! She said that her family was not able to make it, so she wanted to take pictures to share it with them. That made me even more willing to take them! I was so honoured she asked me to document her special day, and even more honoured because she is a photographer herself. I do hope she likes these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Amna's Mayun

I just love weddings and all the events that happen with it! I loved shooting Amna's events! Her family is so sweet (especially her dadi who kept me company while I waited for Amna to arrive) and made me feel so welcome! What made this event even more memorable, was that I was able to catch up with friends I hadn't seen in (what seemed like) forever! So thankful for being given the opportunity to take pictures for Amna, and i wish her all the best on her new journey! Congratulations!

Lina and Pavel

I had a blast shooting Lina and Pavel's shaadi and valima. Everything was beautiful, and the couple was super sweet! It was so much fun taking pictures for them! I loved the pre-photoshoot we had, but unfortunately cannot post those images as requested by the bride and groom. All-in-all, it was so much fun to shoot and I wish the couple all the happiness in the world! Enjoy!
